Sleeping Beauty is one of the world‘s most famous classical ballets and holds a place in the repertoire of virtually every major company. After more than 25 successful years, Ballet Jörgen will create its own unique classical ballet rendition with its World Premiere Tour during the 2015-2016 season. This major new ballet tells the enchanting story of Aurora and her prince complete with its inherently magical qualities and dazzling choreography.

Meet Bel and Quinn, two sisters of Haitian origin who are making their mark on the Canadian music scene. Characterizing their sound as a captivating blend of world music (Haiti), soul, jazz and funk, audiences qualify Bel and Quinn’s performances as energetic and moving. The sisters’ voices combine in perfect harmony to bring their unique music to life. Original songs such as “Hommage” and “L’île aux tambours” showcase Bel’s lyrical talents as well as Quinn’s abilities in composition, musical arrangement and electric jazz guitar.
