Burnstick
Monday, November 9th, 2026 @ 7:30 PM
Burnstick is a Canadian folk music duo forged from passion and unfiltered emotion — where two voices become one powerful musical force. Anchored by the resonant Weissenborn lap slide guitars of Plains-Cree guitarist Jason Burnstick and the rich, poetic songwriting and harmonies of francophone-Métis vocalist Nadia Burnstick, their sound is at once cinematic and intimate. Drawing from a decade of life lived fully — as partners in both art and life — their music carries stories of love, loss, belonging, and the sacred ties that shape who we are.

Drawing inspiration from artists such Urbie Green, Peggy Lee, and Bria Skonberg, Casey leads her bands in performances that blend the timeless elegance of the jazz Golden Age with the joyful spirit of New Orleans hot jazz.

Ballet Jorgen – Swan Lake
Friday, February 26th, 2027 @ 7:00 PM
On the occasion of the company’s 25th anniversary in 2012, Artistic Director and CEO Bengt Jörgen re-visioned the classical and dramatic Swan Lake, adding a hint of Canadian heritage as is often a sign of his work. While this production of Swan Lake showcases the extraordinary beauty of traditional ballet in its purest form, Jörgen re-imagined it in the picturesque seascape of the Fortress of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia.
The elaborate sets are designed by Camellia Koo, reflecting the beauty of Canada’s national heritage park and giving a dramatic backdrop to Robert Doyle’s 17th century costume designs. Doyle was thrilled to be involved in this unique rendition of Swan Lake having worked on the original restoration project of the Fortress of Louisbourg.
